Q. What are we raising funds for?    
We are raising funds for classroom essentials, projects, field trips, books and programs.  They are most affected when budgets are cut.  We are not raising funds to pay for salaries or building expenses. 

Q. Can I raise money for something specific?    
Yes!  As long as they fall under classroom essentials, projects, field trips, books and programs (such as arts, music, sports, science, technology). 

Q.  Why is your online portal for Washington State only?
We are a Charitable Organization and Domestic Nonprofit Corporation registered in the State of Washington.  However, we plan on being registered in other states and we are seeking out grants and corporate sponsorships to be able to make this available to more schools and other states.   

Q. Why $365?  What if I can't give that much or what if I want to give more?
This movement is to encourage people to support schools in their communities by setting aside a dollar a day for a year.  The goal is to raise $365 for your school.  If you don't meet that amount, it's perfectly fine.  If you go over that amount, even better for your school! 

Q. Does it cost anything to join?    
There are no fees to start a fundraising page, nor are there cancellation fees should you change your mind.

There are different rules and regulations when it comes to fundraising.  Please ensure you follow your district's rules when participating. 

 

QUICK FACTS FOR SCHOOLS

  • We can set up a fundraising page for your school or you can join by setting up your own fundraising page. 
  • You will need to provide a picture, your logo, a paragraph explaining why you're doing this, and even a wish list. 
  • You have the ability to customize colors, body text, background images, add media, set templates for fundraisers and much more.
  • There are no setup fees.
  • There are no contracts. You are free to cancel at anytime and you will receive the net funds you raise up to the day you cancel your page.
  • We can set up a monthly schedule for you to receive your funds or wait until goals are reached. 
  • Funds raised are strictly for classroom essentials, projects, field trips, books and programs only.
  • There are fees taken out after your funds are raised.  3% to enable us to push our mission forward and 7% to pay the portal and merchant fees. 
  • If a business sponsors your school, you will be able to receive up to %100 of donations collected from the families.
  • We approach local businesses to help schools in your neighborhood.  They are family oriented and kid friendly businesses. 
  • We send the receipts to all donors.       
  • There are many ways to raise awareness about your page.  You can invite families to join by sending an email attaching the link to your fundraising page. 
  • You can add a link to your fundraising page from your website.  You can share the link on your Facebook page.
  • We ask that you post thank you notes and pictures from the kids to stay engaged with and show your appreciation to donors.
  • Teachers can join as fundraisers under your school name if they have specific needs.

FOR PTA / PTO / BOOSTER CLUBS

We will set up a campaign for you.  Your role is to let the families know about this online fundraiser, share the link with them and get everyone excited about the campaign.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and we will be sending out the receipts to your donors and do all the administrative work for you.  Once you meet your goal, we will process a payment to your organization.  All we ask in return is to know how these donations have helped so we can update our community board and share that information with the donors.
